Speaking

Whether it's a conference, a panel, or a webinar, I jump at the chance to raise awareness about sleep apnea by sharing my own story.  If you'd like to discuss my speaking at your event, please email sleepapneastories@gmail.com.

Philadelphia Sleep Conference

"Emma did a great job speaking at the Philadelphia Sleep Conference.  Her relatable stories about living with sleep apnea really helped the audience understand the patient perspective."

Patient Panels

I recently shared my story with a group of health journalists at a Project Sleep event in Brooklyn, NY, to raise awareness about the problem of drowsy driving among undiagnosed sleep apnea patients.  I have shared my insights as a patient living with sleep apnea at Project Sleep's "Sleep Advocacy Forum" in Washington D.C.

Carolina Sleep Society

“We were so excited to include Emma Cooksey as a speaker at the Carolina Sleep Society Conference this year! Emma is a patient advocate, writer, and podcast host who has been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea. We are so glad that she shared her story to help clinicians understand the challenges and successes of adjusting to sleep apnea treatment."
